For a second he thought it was cute, the way that those ears had gone red at the tips at first and then all the way down. He couldn't help himself, snorting out another laugh as he watched him and shook his head; it was more to himself than anything else.
It certainly didn't give Rohan any indication that he was about to do something even he didn't expect himself. It was a quick movement as one of his hands coming up to rest on Rohan's chest to shove him back against the door, bringing his other arm up to slap his hand against the surface next to his head. He'd done this once before, mostly out of frustration but right now he wasn't sure what had brought it on. Still, he could have stopped but the fact was that he didn't really want to. He leaned in close enough to almost be nose to nose with the other, scales on the side of his face glinting in the light as he let a smirk settle on his lips. ]
It's what I wanted, but we could always stay in if you prefer...
[ He hadn't expected it and it seemed to happen so fast. He thought he night protest when Mista's hand landed on his chest, but there wasn't a chance for him to even think anything else about it. There was just that careful shift forward, fingers curling in the fabric of Rohan's shirt before he placed a very soft kiss to those lips. He only lingered there for a moment, pulling away just as quickly as he'd shoved him against the door. ]
[ It's unsettling to Rohan that Mista is able to do this and he's having a hard time convincing his body to escape. Shove, run, do something - but nothing happens. His face is hot and he's irritated but he's doing not a damn thing about it. Then Mista plants a kiss on his lips and it's so soft and it's weird to feel from the other, if he considers the last time they kissed was anything but.
Then, when Mista pulls away, there's a sigh of relief that he's unable to stop. ]

[ He shifts, stepping up to walk beside Mista, not follow him, because he doesn't want the other to think that he's just gonna follow him around. ]
[ He couldn't help glancing over at him when he'd caught up with his stride, it was horribly funny in a way to see him struggle like this. It wasn't even a spiteful sort of funny, something that almost felt endearing about Rohan; that wasn't a word he would have ever applied to him before.
Somewhere in mind, though, that was a tricky thing to respond to because the truth was he hadn't really thought about it all that much. He'd been so confident in the execution of asking for the date that he hadn't thought about the finer details.
Improvise. It was part of the charm, he supposed, a different sort of improvisation than he'd had to do before. ]
