Yes. Which shouldn't be impossible, because he died ten years ago.
But when we talked, in his - world, I guess, he survived.
no subject
But what you're telling me is much more interesting and suggests alternate versions of even our home world.
no subject
It's a little strange to think about
no subject
[ No. He has absolutely punched a child. ]
Strange, yes, but feasible once arriving here. After all, there are people from different versions of Japan and yet -- we're here with them. Of course an alternate version of our own world is possible.
no subject
I know it's possible, but for him to remember it is strange. It wasn't as though he was replaced by a version of himself who lived - it was him. He remembers most of it, but only the things we talked about.
That's a little different than just an alternate version of our world.
no subject
You can't even pretend this is the strangest thing you've encountered between here and home.
So he got older based on information sourced from a different timeline, and when he returned to his normal age - he remembered only what happened here.
That's what you're saying?
no subject
Sourced from a timeline very similar to the one we lived. I think the only big difference is that I hadn't been to Morioh yet. He had no idea why I would be there.
no subject
Or maybe he doesn't know about him.
There's certainly plenty of other reasons, too, I'm sure.
[ Small possibility, but a world without Josuke -- ]
no subject
Josuke does exist. I just hadn't gotten that far in the inheritance paperwork yet.
no subject
[ Hah, now he's giving you crap. ]
Cruel.
no subject
[he thinks he's SO funny sometimes]
Now there's two timelines where you two can be the best of friends.
no subject
Beautiful, I hate it. Both in theory and in practice, to be honest. I bet we can go 0 for 2 on friendship.
no subject
If you don't go 0 for 2 I'll be surprised.
It's a shame Koichi has to put up with the both of you,
no subject
Koichi is good-natured. Of course he puts up with it. Well, that and he's my friend.

[of course he has to take a dig even when giving a compliment]
There's a lot more you could learn from him aside from that. And I'm not saying that to be an asshole - it's like you said, he's interesting. But it isn't the sort of thing you can learn from reading his life.
no subject
[ jotaro pls he can't deal ]
I can learn what I need from reading.
no subject
You can learn a lot more by just talking to him.
no subject
Why would I do that?
[ have you learned nothing ]
no subject
I'm sure we can both agree that Koichi is a dependable person. Right?
Is that something Heaven's Door would tell you?
no subject
And if it didn't tell me directly, I could understand that from his experiences.
no subject
That's the point I'm trying to make. You can read everything about him, and I'm sure he'll let you, but you have to experience a lot of it in person to really understand it. Before the incident at the tailors I would have said he was dependable based solely on what I've heard; after, I know he is because I saw it with my own eyes.
That's what I mean when I say you can learn a lot more about him by just speaking to him. You'll learn things about him that not even he realizes yet.
no subject
I learn plenty via experience. Heaven's Door takes a significant load off of it, though.
no subject
I'm telling you to engage more with your friend. That's all.
