Yes. Particularly since the person who currently has my old username would likely be offended by what they would I'm sure see as a spontaneous proposition for intimacy.

Because it's in your nature to want to possess the things that interest you, in some given capacity.

Isn't that what artists do? Capture their subjects in a medium, so as to keep a part of them for themselves?

That I wish to possess my subjects? I am more interested in possessing their stories.

I don't see art so much as wanting to keep what I've produced as wanting to ensure it is shared.
