    Disposition:
✑ STUBBORN: Rohan’s stubbornness exists in his day to day life, his personal relationships, and in how he fights. Once he has decided how he decided how he feels, it is difficult to change his mind. He typically determines how he feels about someone in his first interaction with them, and whether it is something he perceives as positive or negative. Some of the things Rohan considers in this is whether or not there’s shared interests - like an appreciation for art, if he finds someone interesting (to him or his readers) or despicable, and also how they treat him. Do they hit him in the face, do they treat him kindly? He decides, almost immediately, that he dislikes Josuke - and his grudge runs so deep with him that he would rather die than be healed by him.

He famously says, during a fight “I refuse”, and once he says or commits to something, don’t expect this man to budge. If Rohan feels like he is being coerced into something, he’ll actively fight and resist that something. He even won’t sacrifice Josuke to save his own skin if he feels like he’s being tricked into something. In some ways, his stubborn nature is a bad thing because he won’t admit to making mistakes. However, the fact that he won’t be coerced into selling out someone he dislikes is almost admirable.

It is important to point out that one person can make Rohan waiver when it comes to his stubborn nature - Koichi. Because Rohan sees Koichi as a beacon of good, he’ll actually cave with something as simple as a glare from his friend.

✑ CURIOUS: Curiosity killed the mangaka. Several times, actually (thanks, Killer Queen timeloops)! Rohan’s curiosity ties into his stubbornness in some ways - in that Rohan won’t stop until he gets answers. He likes to know how people tick, how things work, and how the world and the creatures in it all operate. His pursuit of knowledge can sometimes be dangerous. He is the type of person who wants to interview a serial killer, and that is his initial reason for joining the fray. His stubbornness and curiosity frequently interact because telling Rohan not to do something is just as telling him that there’s something exciting behind the door and he can’t go through it. He assumes that he shouldn’t do it because it is interesting. He will pursue something relentlessly if it’s suggested it is a bad idea because what if he misses something neat.

✑ PASSIONATE: Despite his generally bad attitude, Rohan is a guy that you want in your corner. There’s no “going halfway” with Rohan Kishibe. If he decides he is going to commit to something, he is going to give it everything that he possibly can. This most importantly applies to his work ethic (having committed much of his life to creating manga and writing excellent stories). He states that he doesn’t write manga for the money (though it is very lucrative for him) - he does it because he wants people to read and enjoy his art and stories. He’s always working to improve his art, too! There's no end to improvement.

His passion applies outside of work, too! When he signs up to fight Kira, he keeps going until the puzzle pieces are put together and they find who he is. He’s even the first one to put the pieces together to find out who Kira is. This not only proves that he’s persistent and passionate, but that when he does apply himself he’s successful.

✑ ANTISOCIAL: Rohan would say that he is independent, but other would say that he is antisocial. There’s a joke in town that there’s no point in visiting his house (it’s considered a landmark due to his fame in a small city) because he won’t answer the door. While Rohan has proven that he can be courteous towards fans by giving autographs, he is not a social creature. Not only does Rohan explicitly say he doesn’t like working with others, and dislikes the flashy, busy nature of Tokyo, but he shows it in how he behaves, too. Rohan makes a point to sit on his own (or with one person he likes - Koichi), work on his own, spend time on his own. He lives by himself in a massive house. This naturally means that he’s unskilled at social interactions. He’s pretty casual about tossing out insults towards people he dislikes (towards Josuke’s hair, towards what he reads in someone’s book, towards Reimi’s nail polish). He says things that tell us he doesn’t really care if people think he’s a rude bastard.

    Under pressure:
Rohan treats most change as a way to gain inspiration. For example, when he first gets his Stand (which would be a pretty weird and concerning change for a lot of people), he treats it like an opportunity. He states that it means he can skip conversation and interviews and go straight to reading people like books to learn.

Because of this - Rohan isn’t going to treat this place much differently than he would treat any other place he would have traveled to at home. Rohan is used to going somewhere on a whim since he loves traveling, and he often uses his travels as a way to gather information and inspiration. Despite his stubborn nature, new environments and experiences are extremely exciting to him. He will treat this place, it’s citizens, and visitors from other realities as a new opportunity. Because he’s going to see this as a chance to get inspiration he wouldn’t have access to before, he’s going to immediately get to work on manga.

He will start by finding favorite, inspirational locations, take photos, then settle in and draw. He'll appreciate it if his neighbors leave him alone and don't randomly show up on his doorstep like they do at home. He will see this change as an advantage over his hometown for as long as it may last.

Rohan is used to getting the things he wants, even if he has to use force. His Stand has made this particularly easy. He won’t much like that using Heaven’s Door is going to have some serious cost associated with it that will limit use as he has proven he relies on it in order to get information. He’s going to realize that in order to get information from others, he’s going to have to use his previous method - interviews! Thanks, he hates it. Rohan has a history of poor social skills, when interacting with him he may come off as rude or unpleasant - especially if he fails to get his way. He will take this out on people around him. He doesn't really care if others dislike him because of his attitude. If someone happens to break through that and actually get him to truly appreciate them, he has a hard time admitting such a thing - like at the end of canon, Koichi has to glare to get him to budge on admitting he’d miss Reimi, who had gone so far as to die for him when he was small. Yeah, that difficult.

Despite everything, while he won’t necessarily love certain aspects of the environment, he will do what he can to make his own life easier and to get the inspiration that he desires in order to create. Even if that means participating in things like Synchrony. He's too stubborn to fail, and he won't let his goals escape him as he never has.

Condition upon arrival: Perfect health. And about as emotionally stable as one can expect him to be.

    Abilities:
Heaven's Door: Rohan obtained Heaven's Door not too long before his introduction into the series and therefore he's fairly new to it. It can do a lot so I've included a breakdown.
✑ Reading others like a book: He is able to turn individuals into readable books. It is the absolute truth, and reveals personal details, details on their powers. Basically every personal detail. It can be used on the living, dead, undead (such as ghosts), and sometimes animals. He does not have details as to someone's future. While booked, he can remove or alter pages (which are essentially memories). He can do this by scratching out the words, add words, change words, etc. Having a large number of pages removed can be detrimental to someone's health.
✑ He can also add commands. Simple and straight forward commands work best, and sometimes even otherwise impossible things can happen (such as a person suddenly flying backwards at inhuman speeds). He's also able to do things such as "He cannot harm Rohan Kishibe" or "He will bark every time he sees a cat".
✑ When he has someone booked, Heaven's Door enables him to add learned skills (new languages, instruments, dance, martial arts, etc). Heaven's Door acts like a shortcut to the education process. He cannot give someone unnatural gifts (such as immortality or a Stand).
✑ When individuals have Heaven's Door being used on them, they are unable to move. As such, he strategically used people turning into books to render them unable to physically respond to him.

    Additional Skills:
✑ Artist: As an artist, he draws at inhumanly fast speeds. He can create fully manga chapters in a short time - 3 days, without any assistants helping him (he doesn't like working with other people). He has always been like this, too, even before he got his stand. Rohan's manga PINK DARK BOY is published in Shonen Jump in the series.
✑ Storyteller: Another side effect of his being a mangaka is that he writes a great story as well. Rohan's stories thrive with realism. Heaven's Door has improved his storytelling within his manga because he can get such raw honesty with it. However, he was apparently exceptional storyteller before obtaining his stand.
✑ Clever: While he has very little common sense and real life experience (he's especially irresponsible with money) - Rohan is a fairly quick learner. He picks up information pretty quickly in books and is always on the way to find and learn something new. He's also really good at putting together pieces and solving a puzzle - as long as it interests him. He was a massive asset in solving the Kira case given he was the first to locate Hayato because he so wanted to find Kira.

    Inventory:
    ✑ Clothes on his back
✑ He has his over the shoulder portfolio - inside is: 2 sketchbooks & his pen set
✑ His camera with a half-used roll of film inside

    Gembond: Emerald
Gem Location: Center of Sternum/Between Clavicles

    Sample: TDM Thread | Overflow

Notes: I do have a permissions post for Rohan's Stand: Heaven's Door, available, and it is readily available with an opt-out on his journal. Obviously, I do not use this without asking another players permission or discussing it with them first. I also would not use it on NPCs without first discussing with a mod first, as well - if it should come up (it rarely does). I also plan on making it cost a lot of Manna to use/maintain because of the extent of it's power. I'm sorry for all the notes! I just know what kind of ability this is and want to ensure you guys know that I understand.
